After the 400+ mile move to the more-famed lower region of California, artist Brother Shadrach only made it a couple weeks before posting an ad on craigslist's "Missed Connections" forum. The artists he encountered during his college years in Chico, CA, were arguably some of the best hip hop and R&B artists to have never been heard.

With the reminiscent spirit of Pete Rock and the heart of a sample-pushing Costco employee Brother Shadrach has set up shop again. This time taking the focus off of himself to showcasing the artists he has collaborated with in the last four years. This free-online release includes cuts from local stars: Dusted Phoniks, Eye-Que, Alyriki, Tybox, Lynguistix, and Dash (of P.AND.A.) Since most artists are current or former students of CSU Chico, their styles were influenced by all over the Golden State (from the Bay Area to Long Beach.) LA Hip Hop Calendar and brothershadrach.com proudly present a project aptly called, Beautiful Connections.
