Perspire and Achieve's (P.AND.A.) debut album "Just Cubs" is the product of the collective effort of Dash von Weidhofer and Nicholas "Shadrach" Smith. The duo crafted this classic Hip Hop album while creating a name for themselves by performing heavily throughout the Chico (Northern California) area. With influences from J Dilla to Jackson Browne, the album has a truly eclectic sound. Originally released June 2009, "Just Cubs" was critically acclaimed locally where the group received a nomination for a 2009 CAMMIE award for Best Hip Hop Act. Despite being an independent release funded by PANDA's lunch money, their single "My Day" received some radio airplay. The album also features guest appearances by local artists Dusted Phoniks (Inclined and Willdy Diamond), Eye-Que, and Lynguistix.
